Deb Graf music teacher

Deb Graf was born and raised in north central North Dakota, on a farm outside of Mohall, ND. She is the daughter of Don and Kay Southam. Her love for music started early, listening to her mom play piano and organ for 30 years at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Mohall. Favorites such as "Kitten on the Keys" and Joplin rags influenced Deb's desire to play well.

Deb pursued a degree in music education with a specialty on trombone and piano at the local university. She completed her degree and went on to teach for 19 years. She taught in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota and Vienna, Austria . During this time she also obtained her masters degree from the University of Minnesota and traveled all over Europe.

Here are some photos of her time in Vienna.
